Cold winter weather and lack of inspiration
Cold winter weather has hit our hometown pretty hard over the last week or so and all I think about it “When is it going to warm up!?” Last night it got down to about 10 degrees (damn cold for this part of the country) and I think our furnace has been going non-stop all week trying to keep the house comfortable.
I have a digital picture frame on my desk at work and this picture popped up and made me long for another vacation down the to beach. This is our oldest daughter, Loo, and was her first trip to the beach…and, if I can say so myself, I love this picture. But, right now, it seems like summer and warmer weather will never get here.
I guess during these cold months it’s going to take some extra though and vision to find those little bits of creativity…maybe my little creative genius will show up and help me find some things to photograph. We got a little snow the other night but not enough to take any good pictures. If anything, all this cold weather will give me the opportunity to practice my light painting skills.
