Winter weather equals cabin fever

Winter weather equals cabin fever

We don’t get much in the way of snow and ice in western Tennessee, but when we do the joke around is here is to call it “White death <insert year>”. Our weathermen always overstate the nature of the storms which has a tendency to get everyone all riled up. Before you know it, there’s no bread or milk left in the grocery stores and every school and church within a 100 miles closes before any white stuff begins to fall.

All the hubbub is actually quite humorous but we don’t miss out on a chance to let the girls get out any play in the snow/ice mixture. After we got everyone all bundled up and ready to go, I didn’t miss out on a chance to grab my camera and snap a few pictures. Because of the weather I don’t get this kind of opportunity very often and I think kids, toddlers especially, look cute in cozy little hats.

I took additional pictures over the last 48 hours and as soon as I can get them into Lightroom I’ll share the better ones here. Stay warm out there!
